It is a programme for writers in search of a collective identity. The first programme was held with the participation of three women poets: Eunice D'Souza, Gagan Gill and Pravasini Mahakud on 13 December 1996 at New Delhi.


  • On 22 July 1997, Krishna Basu, Jaya Mitra, Mallika Sengupta and Sanjukta Bandyopadhyay read out their poems at Kolkata.
  • On 1 August 1997 three young Adivasi poets—Kavita Atram, Vishram Valvi and Vaharu Sonawane read out their poems at Mumbai.
  • On 2 August 1997, three women writers— Indira Goswami, Shama Fatehally and Anamika read out from their works and interacted with the readers at New Delhi.
  • On 1 April 1999, Rati Saxena read out from her works at New Delhi.
  • On 28 May 1999, Bani Basu, Suchitra Bhattacharya, Alpana Ghosh at Kolkata.
  • On 10 November 1999, Oriya writer Yashodhara Mishra read out from her works and interacted with the audience.
  • On 30 January 2000, Prathibha Satpathy, Binapani Mohanty, Pushpanjali Naik and Aparna Mohanty at Rourkela, Orissa.
  • On 27 February 2000, Memchoubi Devi, Ibemhal Devi, Borkanya Devi, Devayali
    Devi, Bhanumati Devi and Jibanmala Devi read out their Manipuri poems at Kakching, Manipur.
  • On 26 June 2000, Kalyani Bhattacharya, Jaya Goala, Panchali Debbarma, Soma Gangopadhyay and Lachhmi Bhattacharya read out their Bengali short stories at Agartala, Tripura.
  • On 23 September 2000, Kolkata, Kalyan Mandi, Pushpa Mishra, Jiniya Ray, Lalita Ray Susri Chakraborty, Tanntam Pani, Timi Mitra, Surajan Gangopadhyay, Basabdatta Das Gupta, Keka De, Durba Basu.
  • On 23 September 2000, Kalyani Mandi, Jiniya Ray, Lalita Ray, Susri Chakraborty, Tanntam Pani, Timi Mitra, Suranjan Gangopadhyay, Basabdatta Dasgupta, Keka De and Durba Basu presented their critical studies in Bengali on women writings at Kolkata.

  • On 21 January 2001 Dadu Mandrekar a Dalit writer, Feminist writer Hema Naik and young writer Prakash Pariekar, a protagonist of rural culture presented their literary pieces and also spoke about their ideologies at Canacona, Goa. 17 April 2001 at Hyderabad. Volga, Kondepudi Nirmala, Sarada Ashokavardhan, Seela Subhadra Devi, C.Swarooparani, Mahejabeen, Shahajahana participated.
  • On 24 April 2001, Mandarapu Hymavathy, Kanimozhi and H.M. Kanaka at New Delhi.
  • On 19 September 2001, Mitra Mukhopadhyay, Sipra Datta, Rekha Gangopadhyay, Silpi Samaddar and Bibha Haldar read out their Bengali poims at Port Blair, Andaman.
  • On 20 January 2002, Madhumita Hansda, Khuku Hansda, Tangin Paora Baskey, Parbati Murmu and Mandi read out their Santali poems and short stories at Purulia, West Bengal.
  • On 10 February 2002 Rashmi Ramani, an eminent Sindhi poetess was invited to read her poems at Ajmer.
  • On 29 April 2002, three writers, Chandrakanta_fiction writer in Hindi, Bhagyalakshmi_Telugu poet and Suja Choudhuri_Oriya poet participated and read from their works.
  • On 29 June 2002 Arundhati Subramaniam, Anamika, Neeraja and Malati Parikh were invited to read their poems at Mumbai.
  • On 14 July 2002, Smriti Paul Nath, Hasanatra Shelley, Barnasree Bakshi, Samrajni Shome and Shibani Gupta read their Bengali poems and short stories at Karimganj, Assam.
