Southern Regional Office Library (SROL) is situated in Central College Campus, Bangalore University, Bengaluru. It is well connected by road and metro, Sir M. Vishveshvaraya Metro Station is right in front of the Sahitya Akademi.

 

SROL is one of the most important multi-lingual library, in Bengaluru with a rich collection of books on literature and allied subjects in English, Southern languages, Hindi and other language which are recognised by the Akademi. The Library is also well-known for its huge collection of books on literary theories and criticism, women's studies, cultural histories and translation studies. The Library has more than 30,000 books. It is also inter-connected with Integrated Library software.
